What to Know About the First Season
The first season of the 2024 remake aired from April 2 to Sept. 24, 2024, for 25 episodes, according to Wikipedia. Crunchyroll streamed it outside Asia. The sequel was announced after the first season wrapped, and the remake added an arc that was not in the original 2008 anime, Anime Corner reported.
That original adaptation, produced in 2008, led to a second season in the summer of 2009 from Marvy Jack and Brain’s Base. The new version restarts the story with Lawrence, a traveling merchant, and Holo, a wolf deity who brings bountiful harvests.
