The Shivon Zilis Elon Musk split is official. Zilis announced on X on Friday, Oct. 2, that her relationship with Musk has ended, saying it came “in a week with no warning,” Hola reported. The two share four children.

“It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes,” Zilis wrote. She added, “I’ve loved him more than life itself.”
Zilis also said she hopes the two can become “great friends and coparents,” according to Hola. As of that report, Musk had not publicly responded.
Their Four Children
Zilis and Musk are parents to twins Strider and Azure, born in November 2021; a daughter, Arcadia; and a son, Seldon Lycurgus, born in February 2025, Hola reported. E! News described the relationship as lasting about five years.
Zilis’ Role in Musk’s Orbit
Zilis has worked across Musk’s companies and sat on OpenAI’s board around 2022, CTV News reported. She testified on May 6 in the federal trial in Oakland, California, in which Musk sued OpenAI.
