The Kagurabachi anime cast has a new member: Yūichi Nakamura will voice Soshiro Azami, a sorcerer tied to the Kamunabi organization, the series’ official account announced this week.
The latest Kagurabachi anime cast news arrives roughly six months before the show’s April 2027 premiere. Crunchyroll will stream it worldwide except in Japan, mainland China, North Korea and South Korea, according to Anime.com.
Who is Soshiro Azami in the Kagurabachi anime cast?
Azami is described as a sorcerer affiliated with Kamunabi who possesses exceptional strength. Nakamura, in comments released with the announcement, called the character a realist who serves as a contrast to Togo Shiba, according to a press release. He also said reading the manga for his audition left him feeling it embodied the recent “spirit of Jump.”
Taihi Kimura voices lead character Chihiro Rokuhira. Tomokazu Seki plays Kunishige Rokuhira, and Katsuyuki Konishi plays Shiba. The studio is Cypic, a CyberAgent subsidiary, with Tetsuya Takeuchi directing.
