Prime Video has announced six new cast members for its Things We Never Got Over adaptation, joining leads Molly Griggs, Matthew Noszka and Tommy Martinez.

Sean Teale (Doctor Odyssey, Only Murders in the Building) will play Lucian, Sarah Jeffery (The Six Triple Eight, Charmed) will play Sloane, Megan Stott (Penelope, Little Fires Everywhere) will play Waylay, Lili Simmons (Double Down South, Power Book IV: Force) will play Lina, Anthony Keyvan (Just Picture It, XO, Kitty) will play Stef, and JoBeth Williams (Poltergeist, Behemoth!) will play Liza J.

The Story And Source Material

Things We Never Got Over follows runaway bride Naomi Witt, who arrives in the quirky town of Knockemout, Virginia expecting to rescue her estranged twin sister and return to her old life. Instead, her sister disappears, leaving Naomi with a teenage niece she never knew existed and an unexpectedly charming cast of locals, including the charming sheriff Nash Morgan and his grumpy but appealing brother Knox Morgan.

The novel is the first book in Score’s Knockemout trilogy. According to Deadline, the novel is a New York Times bestseller with strong readership on Kindle Unlimited since its 2022 release, with The two sequels, Things We Hide from the Light and Things We Left Behind, completed the trilogy in 2023.

Production And Creative Team

Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder, known for their work on the Ringer, wrote the pilot script and serve as co-showrunners and executive producers, according to Variety. Gina Girolamo serves as an executive producer through her production company, Strega Stories. Lucy Score serves as a co-executive producer.

Amazon MGM Studios produces the series, which was ordered in June 2026. The show entered production in September 2026 and is expected to premiere in late 2027 or 2028.
