So, we’ve touched on this comic before, but is it worth the $40 price tag? Is Red Hood #1 worth reading or is it just a waste of time and money? Well, that’s what we’re here to talk about. First, if you’re unfamiliar with why a comic book is worth $40 in the first place, we’ll give a brief overview, so let’s get started on that so we can get to the fun stuff!

Red Hood #1 Sparks Backlash Amid Controversial Content

If you’re unfamiliar with the whole controversy surrounding Red Hood #1, here’s a quick little overview. The writer, Gretchen Felker-Martin, said a bunch of negative things celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, that’s a whole thing we won’t be talking about on this article since it’s not really related to what we’re talking about. However, we have a whole other article on it anyway if you wanna read it here.

Regardless, she got fired and the whole series got scrapped. It sucks, it really does, but that’s not what we’re here to discuss, now, let’s get started with the review!

Red Hood #1 Review: A Bold New Chapter in Gotham’s Dark Underworld

Overall, the comic was good, it had a lot of potential. It ends on a cliffhanger and since we won’t be getting another official part anytime soon, time to head to the wonderful world of fanfiction!

In all seriousness, it’s genuinely a good comic, the plot is super interesting, the storylines are super fun to look at, seeing all the different points of view is really nice, Helena is super witty and funny, and while it’s absolutely not worth $40, it is worth a read.

So, how should you read it if you don’t wanna buy a copy or anything like that? Well, there are plenty of websites that give access to all sorts of comic books. Just be careful and practice internet safety, the last thing anyone wants is to have all their data stolen.

Now, if you wanna read more about the whole $40 price tag for Red Hood #1, we’ve also talked about it here. Now, have a great day everyone and I hope you enjoy the comic, even if we’ll never get an official series for it!
