The family of the 12-year-old girl killed in a shooting at a youth football homecoming event has identified her as Khloe Ishway. The child died Saturday when two gunmen allegedly opened fire during an apparent dispute near Leon Day Park in Baltimore, authorities said.

Three adults were also wounded in the shooting, according to Fox News. No arrests had been announced.

The Latest on Khloe Ishway

Khloe’s mother, Kristin Reese, spoke publicly about her loss. “I’m gonna just miss my baby whole. I miss everything about her,” Reese told CBS News.

She added, “I want justice for my baby.” According to CBS News, Khloe loved dancing, music and spending time with her family.

A peace walk in Khloe’s honor was scheduled for Monday at 5 p.m., according to CBS News.

Case Background

Police officers responded to Leon Day Park at approximately 6:15 p.m. Saturday after reports of gunfire near the youth football event. Investigators believe two gunmen exchanged fire with each other, and Khloe was caught in the crossfire while she was likely watching the football games, authorities said.

The other victims were a 25-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man and a 23-year-old man. The 25-year-old woman was with Khloe at the time she was shot, according to authorities.

The gunfire appeared to stem from a dispute over a parking spot at the park, according to NBC News.

What Officials Have Said

Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley addressed the shooting at a news conference Saturday night, saying, “What we know is that there was some type of argument between two cowards, and of course, they both opened fire on each other. In the crossfire, a 12-year-old little girl who was probably down there watching football was shot and killed.”

Worley also addressed the apparent cause of the confrontation, saying, “The dispute most likely occurred from a stupid parking spot,” according to NBC News.

What’s Next

Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating the shooting and continue to search for the two gunmen involved, according to Fox News. No arrests or charges have been publicly announced in connection with the case.
