17-time Grammy winner Sting has been announced as the headliner for a pre-Super Bowl concert in San Francisco. Set for February 6, 2026, at the Palace of Fine Arts, the concert will take place at Levi’s Stadium. Organized by NFL and On Location, the event is part of the Super Bowl LX Studio 60 concert series.

Details About The Event

The event will feature an intimate performance with hospitality packages. These will include food, beverage, private lounges, and meet-and-greet opportunities with NFL legends. The concert is part of a larger Super Bowl weekend lineup, with Chris Stapleton scheduled to perform on February 7. Stapleton will be performing at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The announcement comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Bad Bunny’s selection as the halftime show performer.

The History of Sting

Sting began his musical career playing jazz and rock with various groups. One of these groups was Last Exit, before forming The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers in 1977. As the band’s frontman, principal songwriter, and bassist, he helped  to define the sound that propelled The Police to global fame. Today, Sting remains one of the most influential and prolific artists in music. He continues to perform and record, maintaining a legacy as a versatile, and innovative artist across music, film, and activism.

Sting’s Musical Impact

In addition to his Grammys, Sting has received many other accolades throughout his career. These include, Brit Awards for Best British Male Artist in 1994, and Outstanding Contribution to Music in 2002. He has also received a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for “Until…” from Kate and Leopold (2002), and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program (2002).
