Taylor Swift Showgirl Australia chart success continues as “The Life of a Showgirl” returns to No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, lifted by the release of an “Encore” edition with four new songs. Her single “Patient Zero” also debuted at No. 1 on the singles chart, The Music Network reported for the chart dated Oct. 2.

New songs power the Taylor Swift Showgirl Australia comeback

The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore came out Sept. 25 and adds “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon,” according to Wikipedia’s album entry. The Music Network reported that Swift holds four spots on the ARIA Singles Chart this week.

“Patient Zero” took the top spot and pushed Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” to No. 2, The Music Network said.

What it means for Swift in Australia

“Patient Zero” follows “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the Toy Story 5 song that reached No. 1 in Australia in June. Our earlier coverage looked at her return to her country roots on that track.

The “Patient Zero” video stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell and premiered at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 27, according to Wikipedia. We covered the night in our story on Swift debuting “Patient Zero” at the VMAs.

Other albums on the ARIA chart

Australian singer Julia Jacklin’s album “The Gem” debuted at No. 5 on the albums chart and topped the Australian Albums chart, The Music Network reported. It is her third top 10 album, after “Crushing” at No. 8 and “Pre Pleasure” at No. 2.

The Encore edition gives Swift’s album fresh momentum in Australia. Taylor Swift Showgirl Australia chart numbers will be worth watching in the weeks ahead.
