Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 came out on April 24, 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox X|S and PC. IGN rated the game a 9/10, stating that the game “paints itself into the pantheon of great RPGs with a brilliant combat system and a gripping, harrowing story.”

The game, developed by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive, currently has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam. One Steam user recommended the game, writing, “This is one of those games where art and gaming come together to form something more. A tragedy play mixed with action RPG in this turn-based combat game, where you explore a fantastic imaginary world full of stunning visuals, creative enemies, a deep and touching story coupled with mechanics that evolve throughout the gameplay.”
