What inspired the song
Noah Kahan Draw You Out follows a young Haymitch Abernathy as he leaves for the 50th Hunger Games and says goodbye to Lenore Dove, according to Just Jared.
Kahan called the project an “insane opportunity” in an interview with Billboard. He said music is a “massive part” of the Hunger Games world. He also said that while the song is sad, listeners should not expect something heartwarming.
Kahan’s fourth studio album, The Great Divide, debuted at No. 1 and stayed there for three weeks, uDiscover said. He is touring in support of it.
