The Naoki Bandō death was announced Friday by Production Ace, his agency, which said the Japanese voice actor died Monday, Sept. 28, at age 69, according to Anime News Network. He died while undergoing treatment, Anime.com reported.

Bandō voiced Robonyan and Manjimutt in “Yo-kai Watch,” Bodoro in “Hunter x Hunter,” Gato in “Naruto” and Elder Centipede in “One-Punch Man,” Anime.com reported. His 1990s credits included “Brave of the Sun Fighbird” and “The Brave of Gold Goldran.”

The agency said his wake and funeral will be held with relatives only. It asked fans not to send condolence visits, telegrams, gifts or flowers, Anime.com reported.
