“Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” Movie Music Collection Officially Announced

Do you enjoy horror movies where the villains are something out of the ordinary? If so, then you’d go crazy over “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.” This film takes inspiration from the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s video game franchise. And it continues the story set in the previous flick from 2023.

The new “Five Nights at Freddy’s” feature has made quite the impression despite debuting recently. And it’s about to do so again with the upcoming movie soundtrack. That’s right, fans will get to relive their favorite moments from the film through audio. The best part, however, is that the soundtrack will be available on various formats. If you’re interested in learning more, stick around until the very end.

Music from the Movie Coming Soon

Recently, a physical movie soundtrack for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” was announced. It’ll be a 24-track album available in three formats – CD, vinyl, and cassette. And it’s being brought to us by a collaboration between Universal, Blumhouse, and Iam8bit.

The “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” soundtrack will also be available in a six-piece collection. This ensemble will include two copies of the records, discs, and tapes. And the records will come in four variant covers designed by Scott Saslow. If someone wishes to collect all four, they can purchase the special Four Vinyl Bundle.

As for the music, it was entirely composed by The Newton Brothers. The band mentioned wanting to bring in “bigger themes” and “stranger textures.” They also spoke of adding a “more aggressive sense of rhythm.” Lastly, they revealed their goal of evolving the music while adhering to FNAF 1’s score. People will get to experience this, while fans re-experience it, next year in January.

Recapping “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2”

“Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” takes place one year after the last movie. Mike, Vanessa, and Abby struggle to readjust to regular life following their horrific adventure. At the same time, Abby attempts to reconnect with the original animatronics. Her desires soon lead to a mystery involving the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. And much chaos during the town’s first-ever fest dedicated to the urban legend.

Despite being a commercial success, critics didn’t take to “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.” Franchise fans, on the other hand, cannot help loving this horror sequel. They especially loved the easter eggs and implementation of the source’s gameplay mechanics. Their adoration for the movie even led to an 88 percent on Popcornmeter. And if they loved the film, they’ll love what’s coming next.

Final Thoughts

It’s surprising to hear of an upcoming music collection for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.” But in a good way, because it shows Universal having faith in the movie. Additionally, it also reveals how much the studio wants to continue this film series. Nothing helps build funds for another flick more than merchandise sales. You can help out, too, by pre-ordering the music collection before January 7.
