One final spot in the LCK Playoffs remained for HANJIN BRION and FearX. Both teams battled hard. BFX ended the series as victors. They fought back from a deficit in game four, and then took control of the series. BRO’s LCK year ends, but they will play again in the Demacia Cup. BFX qualify for the LCK playoffs, where they will face T1.

BFX Wins a Chaotic Battle

Most of game one saw the teams trade blows. If one made a play, the other followed suit. If one got two kills in a fight, the other did as well. The leads became Casting Versus Taeyoon. The last time Casting played Olaf against BFX, he struggled. Today was different.

Taeyoon died in most fights because Casting always shut him down.

BFX kept their lead at 2k throughout most of the game. They never broke free, because the fights were always close. BRO even found picks of their own to slow the pace. Once BFX took the Hextech Soul, they were unstoppable. They won a fight in BRO’s jungle to end the game.

The BRO Snowball Rolls

It all started with GIDEON’s invasion on Raptor’s second Raptor respawn. Raptor and VicLa died in the contest, giving Roamer two kills. It went from bad to worse for BFX, as their invade failed, giving Teddy two kills. Every play BFX tried failed, until one good pick in the mid lane. The pick did not matter in the long run. Shortly after, BRO destroyed the top and mid towers to regain a 5.5k gold lead.

Namgung showed why BRO prioritizes Neeko, finding multi-player Pop Blossoms. BFX fought back towards the end, earning kills in fights. It was never enough to swing the momentum. BRO evened out the series.

Another BRO Stomp

The game started exactly how BFX wanted. They killed Teddy early and then picked up another kill on Namgung. GIDEON bailed out his bot lane with a successful gank that killed Taeyoon and Kellin. At the same time, Casting was building a lead in the top lane.

All it took was one gank from GIDEON to break the game. He helped Casting kill Clear, which led to the two outer top lane turrets dying. Teddy and Namgung left bot lane to help Roamer push mid.

BFX tried one more desperate play to kill Casting. The fight went better than expected as they killed GIDEON and Teddy, but they still lost five members. BRO headed to match point thanks to the Baron push.

BFX Recover For Silver Scrapes

BRO led early for the third game in a row. They had a 2k gold lead, but it was not insurmountable for BFX. However, they could never catch BRO as they moved around the map.

The third Drake fight was where everything exploded. BRO’s positioning was horrible, with Teddy and Namgung zoned by VicLa. Even with Roamer landing a Charm on Taeyoon, BRO lost the fight. Clear picked up four kills in the fight and became a threat.

BRO could not kill Clear for the rest of the game, as he tore into BRO. The final fight saw GIDEON send a Hail Mary Grand Starfall on BFX’s backline. The play failed, giving Taeyoon a pentakill and sending the series to Silver Scrapes.

The first play went as bad as possible for BFX. Clear died while trying to dive Casting. Fortunately, Casting could not crash the wave in time. BRO looked for two plays simultaneously. Roamer gave up mid-push for bot lane gank. It failed as Kellin dodged the stun. Right after, BRO missed their engage on Clear, giving Raptor time to arrive. GIDEON died, and the snowball started. The only lead was Teddy, which was 200 gold. BFX snowballed the game through pressure and objectives. They earned a 7k gold lead while having four kills.

BRO had moments; they killed VicLa and reduced some of the gold lead. Shortly after, Roamer died, and the game ended. BFX advanced to the playoffs.
