New Ghost of Yotei Trailer Drops Multiplayer DLC in 2026 – Gamescom 2025

Ghost of Yotei is one of the most anticipated games coming in 2025, and Gamescom Opening Night Live just dropped another trailer with some exciting news. The Song of Vengeance trailer reveals a free Legends multiplayer co-op DLC coming in 2026, and the game hasn’t even come out yet!

Ghost of Yotei Legends DLC Coming 2026

Ghost of Yotei is set to release on October 2, but before its release, Sucker Punch and PlayStation thought it’d be great to shower gamers with something special. We didn’t get a lot, but the game is set to come out with a Legends DLC sometime next year. What does this mean? This bonus mode adds co-op story missions and four-player matches, very reminiscent of Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends DLC. Not much else is known about the DLC; however, fans cannot wait much longer for its release. 

Ghost of Yotei follows the story of Atsu, a lone mercenary, traveling through northern Japan on a revenge mission to kill those who murdered her family years earlier. As opposed to its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, this is a standalone game and set 300 years before the events of the first game. The success of Tsushima brought instant hype for this new game, with players’ expectations high and major support from the studio, and I cannot wait to see how this story unravels.
