The Daily Drop — Your Dose of Celebs & Pop Culture: March 26, 2026

In today's daily Drop, we have the Hollywood sign with vibrant greenery in the background

From trends to tea—we’ve got you covered!

Welcome to Thursday’s daily Drop, where the week is officially in its “don’t ask me for anything else” era. Thursdays carry the energy of a car running on fumes—you’re technically still moving, but only because the universe hasn’t had the heart to stop you yet. It’s the day when your inbox becomes a threat, your coffee tastes like betrayal, and Hollywood decides to lob emotional curveballs just to see if you’re paying attention.

And today? The headlines didn’t just show up—they barged in, kicked off their shoes, and asked what’s for dinner. Between Josh Duhamel glowing like a man who just discovered he’s about to be wrapped around a baby girl’s tiny finger, Howie Mandel taking issue with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ “you look great” compliment at 70, and Kylie Kelce getting real—very real—about postpartum sex, this Drop is tender, chaotic, and painfully human.

Let’s get into it.

Josh Duhamel Shares His Excitement for Baby Girl on the Way with Pregnant Wife Audra Mari

Josh Duhamel is about to enter his girl‑dad era, and honestly? The man is radiating. In a recent chat with E! News, the 53‑year‑old actor couldn’t contain his excitement about the baby girl he and wife Audra Mari are expecting.

“I don’t know what to make of it. I’m just so… I cannot wait to meet her,” he said, adding, “There’s something about dads and their little girls. It’s different, you know?”

Mari announced the pregnancy earlier this year with a black‑and‑white Instagram carousel that practically glowed with soft‑focus joy. The couple—married since 2022—already share a son, Shepherd, born in January 2024, and Duhamel also has a 12‑year‑old, Axl, with ex‑wife Fergie.

Duhamel has always been vocal about loving fatherhood, but this new chapter feels especially meaningful. He’s talked about savoring every milestone, embracing the chaos, and leaning into the quieter, grounded life he and Mari have built away from Hollywood’s noise.

Now, with a daughter on the way, he’s stepping into a role he’s openly dreamed about. And if his grin in every recent interview is any indication, this man is already wrapped around a tiny, hypothetical finger.

Howie Mandel Takes Issue When Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Say He “Looks Great” at 70

Howie Mandel is 70, looks fantastic, and absolutely does not want to hear about it—at least not the way Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos phrased it.

During his March 23 appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the hosts congratulated him on turning 70 and tossed out what they thought was a harmless compliment: “You look great.” Mandel, however, wasn’t having it.

“I look great? That doesn’t mean anything to me,” he shot back. “I don’t like that, ’cause that’s a caveat.”

Ripa tried to clarify—“We’re not saying you look great for 70”—but Mandel wasn’t buying it. “Yes, you are, without saying 70,” he insisted.

The exchange spiraled into a philosophical debate about backhanded compliments, aging, and the subtle art of saying something nice without implying someone is defying the odds by not crumbling into dust.

Eventually, Mandel softened, joking, “Honestly, now, I’ll be serious for a minute: I’m gorgeous.”

And honestly? He is.

Kylie Kelce Says Postpartum Sex Is “Not All Fun and Games”

Kylie Kelce—mother of four, wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce, and patron saint of saying the quiet part out loud—got candid on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast about something most people avoid discussing: postpartum sex.

“For anyone who has experienced sex postpartum… are we doing this? We’re doing this. I’m talking about it,” she began, before dropping the line that instantly went viral: “It’s not all fun and games the first couple of times, if you catch my drift.”

She didn’t sugarcoat it. She didn’t wrap it in euphemisms. She said what millions of women think but rarely say out loud: “A human just exited that door.”

Kelce also talked about the pressure to “bounce back,” the unrealistic expectations placed on new moms, and the emotional and physical recalibration that comes with adding another child to the family. Despite the challenges, she described her home as “comfy and whole,” and while she hasn’t ruled out more kids, she joked that once her youngest is out of diapers, “the shop is closed.”

It’s raw, honest, and refreshingly unfiltered—exactly why so many women feel seen by her.

Catch You in the Next Drop

Thursday didn’t punch us in the face like Monday or gaslight us like Tuesday, but it definitely showed up with a stack of emotional paperwork we weren’t prepared to sign. Today’s stories gave us a spectrum: a soon‑to‑be girl dad glowing with anticipation, a comedian refusing to accept a compliment without a fight, and a mom breaking the silence around postpartum intimacy.

If Thursday is any indication, the rest of the week is stretching, cracking its knuckles, and whispering, “Don’t get too comfortable.”

Drink some water. Unclench your jaw. And brace yourself—the next Drop hits tomorrow, and Hollywood is clearly not slowing down.
