AMC Theaters has just announced its explosive Cyber Monday sale. AMC is offering moviegoers a deal they cannot refuse on their favorite movie snack, popcorn. On December 1st, Cyber Monday, AMC Stub members can purchase special perks that will allow them to buy popcorn at half off. With movies like “Shrek 5,” “Toy Story 5,” “Scary Movie 6,”” Streetfighter,” and “You, Me, & Tuscany,” coming out next trips to the movies will add up.

AMC’s Must-Grab Popcorn Pass

AMC Theater’s latest deal, the Popcorn Pass, will go on sale on Cyber Monday for $29.99 plus tax. The pass allows AMC Stubs members to get one large popcorn half off with a free refill. The one-time purchase will last from December 1st, 2025, or the day of purchase, through December 31st, 2026. The Popcorn Pass can be used once a day by Stubs members.

After purchase, the Popcorn Pass will be displayed on the member’s Stubs account dashboard. At checkout, the AMC concession worker will scan the reward. Unlike most rewards associated with the Stubs account, only the account holder can use the reward, and they must present their photo ID.

Unbeatable AMC Deals Boost Savings

With discount movies on Tuesday and Wednesday, and now the new Popcorn Pass from AMC Theaters, it’s making it affordable to go to the movies again. The only catch is that you have to be a Stubs member, but it is free to sign up for their basic plan.

The Stubs insider account is free and includes 50% off tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, a free large butter popcorn refill, a free large popcorn as a birthday gift, and 20 points for every dollar spent. A new perk is 50% off on small combos, but only on discount movie days. After accumulating 5,000 points, they will convert to a $5 reward.

AMC’s Upgrade System Unlocks Power Perks

Another perk is that the Insider account can be upgraded for free. According to AMC Theaters’ website, insider members can become Premiere Go! status after meeting the qualifying requirements. “If you’re an Insider, unlock your membership upgrade by visiting us 8x or earning 5,000 points within a year”.

Premiere Go! members points double on each dollar. Points can be redeemed for concession food and tickets. The birthday reward includes a large drink and popcorn, as well as a complimentary upgrade on popcorn and drinks.

The next tier to AMC Stubs membership is Premiere. Premiere has the same benefits as Premiere Go!, but with 100 points for every dollar.  But the Premiere account is $17.99 plus tax for a full year.

AMC’s A-List Makes Movies Affordable

Last but not least, if you’re a true movie lover, AMC Theaters offers the A-List club. The A-List rewards are the same as Premiere, but you can view up to four movies a week for free, and the free tickets are valid for any movie format. The A-List tier of the AMC Stubs membership is $23.99 a month, and when you sign up, you get a $10 reward.

Between the Popcorn Pass and AMC Theaters, Stubs benefit families will save a lot. Going to the movies can become a weekly outing without breaking the bank.
