Disney Dreamlight Valley released its newest update in The Storybook Vale part 2: The Unwritten Realm and it has users excited to continue on their journeys. There is a lot to be excited about, as you are able to befriend new characters like Maleficent and Aurora from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. However, there is even more after completing the update that gives players a reason to be excited. Let’s take a closer look at what it is and what it means for players going forward.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Hints at Upcoming Character Addition

Following the completion of the update, users will see the credits for everyone involved in the game, and following the credits, we are given a brief video suggesting a new character will be joining the video game.
In the video, we are shown a wanted poster for Flynn Rider in the Tangled universe, similar to the movie. However, a shadow on the poster emerges, and it appears to be Maximus from the movie. Disney Dreamlight Valley has not mentioned as of this writing if this will be a new main story character in the game or a future DLC content. So far from the movie, we have three characters in the game in Mother Gothel, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider, so seeing Maximus potentially joining the game would be an exciting addition for players.
Again, we do not know of any additional information, and outside of people completing the newest update, there has been no information regarding if and when Maximus or any other characters will be introduced into the game.
